Yes, when the bases are loaded, or if there is just a runner on first or first and second or third and
there are two outs, the batter may attempt to run to first, providing the runner on first
attempts advancing to the next base.

According to ASA rule 2005 edition, a pitched ball that hits the dirt, then hits a batter is a hit batter. Umpire calls time, declares a dead ball,
base runners may only advance if a runner was on first, and force any of the runners to move ahead one base to allow the batter first base.
Now here is were it gets more complex, the rule book also states a batter must not allow her self to be hit by a pitched ball, so if an umpire in there
opinion dose not feel the batter made a reasonable attempt to not get hit by the pitch, the umpire can elect not to award first base
The answer to my question would be NO, she is not awarded first base.

A base runner must be on a base if the pitcher has control of the ball and she is in the circle.
Once the pitcher releases the pitch a base runner may lead off that base, and wait to see if it is a fly ball, or she may attempt to advance to the next base or home plate.
Any base runner is in jeopardy of get put out if off any base.
